Today was a really good day.

It was one of those Saturday’s where nothing was going to put me in a bad mood. My dad is in town to help my youngest sister, Katy, move into a new house and both of them stayed at my place last night. I really love having family here, it brings me so much joy to be around all of my family members, but even just a few at a time is great too.

My dad, Katy, and I spent the entire day moving Katy into her new house. With my inability to go the gym lately, I was stoked to be able to spend a full day moving boxes and running around town for the exercise. And we brought Henri along for the day!

She was such a good girl and somehow made me fall even more in love with her. It was her first time doing the “head out the window” thing that almost every dog adores, and it blew her tiny mind. She was pretty much in doggy heaven and in a state of euphoria for about 2 hours straight.

And apparently joyriding and moving a college kid into a new house was a bit much for a little girl, because she couldn’t keep her eyes open towards the end of the day.

Dogs make every day, every event, every outing better. I am so thankful for this little monkey!
