For some reason, this candid photo of my sister and I (oops I wasn’t the photographer in this photo challenge) is one of my favorites. The camera is focused on the footprints in the sand, a very common beach picture, but those little cliche footprints are special to me. A set belongs to my sister and a set belongs to me.
It’s a very symbolic picture in my eyes, two sisters walking along different life paths but always side by side. To me, the significance of this photo isn’t necessarily what is in focus, but what lies in the background.
