Today’s photo challenge: Down. We spend a lot of time looking ahead, looking from left to right before we cross the street, looking into the sky for Superman, but not a lot of time looking down. What do you see?
One thing that is consistent throughout all of my photography is feet. I love feet. Not in a fetish way (at least I don’t think so?), I just love photographing them. I think feet can tell us a lot about a person. By looking at pictures of feet, you can get a feel for the person that is connected to them and what they enjoy doing. Feet carry us to our loved ones and take us on adventures across the world. If I do a photo shoot with you, you better paint your toenails and wear pretty shoes because I will be photographing your feet! Here are my favorites:
The next two are my absolute favorite feet pictures:
Bridget, Dave, and their son Nolan before Dave deployed to Afghanistan for a year. More of this shoot here!
Wonderful post. Like each photograph of this post. Great entry to this week’s challenge.

I love the first one!
I love that last one !
These are so cute! Love them!
Thank you!
I never take pictures of feet, maybe I should.
Feet make good photographs, I agree! One favorite photo hanging in our house is my husband’s hands holding our newborn granddaughter’s feet. What a treasure!
Sounds so sweet!
They are all so beautiful! I don’t have any feet pictures! Should start looking down more 🙂
I never thought of feet as something to be photographed, besides as a pregnancy announcement. But you took some beautiful pictures and have changed my mind!
Thank you, SL!! You should see my iPhoto library, SO many feet pictures! There’s just something about them 🙂
