Hi Ya’ll!
Due to some personal reasons (nothing bad, no worries), I’m going to have to make The Other Courtney private and unviewable to the general public here in the next few days.
At this point, I’m not sure how long this stealth mode is going to last, could be 3 weeks could be 2 months. When I come back from on-so-sneaky status, I’ll be able to make things unprivate and explain why I’m having to be all ambiguous (read dramatic and ridiculous) about it.
IF you still want to follow The Other Courtney and get my rants, raves, and ramblings in your inbox and reader, then leave a comment on any of my posts letting me know! I will add you to my “approved reader” list and nothing will change for you. I’d be honored to have you still follow along and I look forward to reading YOUR blogs and comments on here, as always.

I apologize to those of you who have just started following in the past few weeks. I know it’s kind of lame to start following a blog and then it becomes temporarily private. I won’t be mad if you decide to unfollow and move on. Really, it’s okay. You can finally say “it’s not me, it’s you. And no, we CAN’T still be friends.”

hahah okay will do! I think that after I make it private readers who don’t already have a wordpress account might have to create one, so that may be a bit of a bummer for those who don’t want to. It’s almost as exciting as asking for secret doors and passageways to my new home (which my contractor claims he may install without telling me and may see if I can search them out. Ha!)

Secret passageways in a new house?! Ummmmm that sounds amazing! Is that for real?? haha! I would LOVE that, but probably for a different reason than some. I tend to be paranoid and I’d like to think I could use secret passages as an escape if I’m being burglarized 😀 Essentially, I’d love a house with a panic room.

I’m thinking at best it might be a secret door. I think the space will be limited for an actual passage way. I love the bookshelf style doors! If that can be pulled off, I’ll be super excited! 🙂
Also, your post title reminded me that I need to add “stealth” to my list of favourite words. Hehe. The word is a common descriptor for my pup, Jax. So stealthy! 🙂

I know, right?! I saw a bookshelf door on Houzz.com which when opened, showed that there was a washroom behind it! Love that idea!! I would be sold on that alone!!
Jax is a Lakeland Terrier. They are much like an Airedale Terrier but smaller in size. LOADS of personality. Quirky as hell 🙂
Lakeland’s are SO CUTE!! I feel like Jax is a very appropriate name. And I can see those dogs being very mischievous and stealthy, haha!
Ah, cool! You are familiar with Lakelands! 🙂 Most people I’ve spoken with have never heard of the breed.
I am a complete animal freak and know most breeds by sight, or at least have heard of them. Ironic that I’m very ALLERGIC to all of them (except a select few) haha. Such a sad irony. Are Lakeland’s pretty rare? I feel like I don’t see them too often. Or maybe I see them and just assume it’s a baby airedale hahan:-p
My husband and I are actually getting a puppy on Friday, eek! He’s a miniature chocolate Australian labradoodle- we are sooo excited. We are going to test him out for a week or so to see if I react and if not we will keep him. My heart is already broken at the thought of it not working out. Praying for good results!
