When Nolan (my best friends kiddo) turned one, he experienced chocolate cake for the first time. What started off as a slice of heaven turned into regret pretty quickly. This series of photos always makes me laugh and hits a little too close to home. On the rare occasion that I eat cake, I have a tendency to binge. I can relate to your bittersweet pain, lil Nolan.
“This was a terrible idea. How could you let me do this to myself?!”

Hahaha! Ohhhhh the memories. That was so funny, and you took such beautiful photos. Your captions make them even better! I feel you on the cake. If it’s chocolate w/ more chocolate, I could eat that much (or more) in one sitting. Cake is sooo goooood! And I know how healthy you eat, so honestly? I think you deserve a good binge every-so-often. =D
So funny!
Hahaha, just what I needed – a bit of cake envy and a good laugh! Poor little Nolan! But Court, you’ve captured every moment and it’s truthfulness perfectly, your captions couldn’t be any more true to the feeling of eating good cake! 🙂

LOL I love this series of shots. Great entry for this week’s challenge 🙂
That is one big regret. It’s reminded me of a story, I’ll use it on my blog later this week and link back here.
Sounds good! I look forward to reading it!
I’ve just published it

LOL!! Hubs just asked me if I’m okay because I was laughing so hard.
hahaha nice 🙂 Yeah, cracks me up too!
Ha Ha Ha! So cute! Looks like he had fun for a little while. The last photo of him getting cleaned up is precious! I am a binge cake eater too. Well, any sweets really.
Ha ha ha. A wonderful series of pics. I imagine parents were also possibly regreting the whole episode?
Not too much, actually! They found it pretty amusing!
My son, aged 1, was pretty much the same this week!
LOL. I love the story that these pictures tell. http://wp.me/pdJ7S-wu
Oh the poor little chap, I feel his pain because I often don’t know when to stop!
