Another Perry Family Beach Week is coming to a close, what a great week it’s been! They have been doing this beach trip every summer for at least 35ish years now and I have been fortunate enough to come the past 3 years.
The vacation started with spending a few days with my family in Kure Beach then driving an hour to spend the rest of the week with Isaac’s family on Topsail Island. There is nothing better than the NC coast in the summertime. Topsail Island is like taking a step back in time, it is the polar opposite of trailer trash hot spots like Myrtle Beach. Despite the recent shark attacks and sightings in the area, we had a relaxing week–and still have all of our limbs!
Tonight was our last night so Isaac and I sat on the floating dock behind our house for a long time watching shooting stars–amazing. You’ve been good to me summer, I will miss you so.
