Weekend Recap

This weekend was exactly what I needed after my tear-filled Friday. I slept until almost 1pm on Saturday, ate BBQ, visited the in-laws, went hiking, did a family/maternity photo shoot, went wedding suit shopping with Isaac, and we booked our Honeymoon! Here are a few pictures from the over 400 that I took this weekend.

My Morning Waterfall

At 6:00 this morning the theme song from the television show Dexter erupted from my phone, letting me know it was time to wake up for work. I hit snooze a few times and when my “final warning” alarm went off, I knew it was already too late to do my hair. Yesterday I worked…

Weekly Photo Challenge: BIG

Seabrook Island, South Carolina A small island with some big, gorgeous trees! I was so happy Isaac snapped this picture of me under one of my favorite trees, I love the perspective. Not sure what type of tree it is, anybody know? I adore its curly branches.  weekly photo challenge: Big

The Best Part About a Deployment

…is the return home Thank you to all of our service men and women who sacrifice precious days, weeks, months, and years with their families so that we may live freely in this beautiful country. This past weekend I was honored to photograph my friend Dave’s return home from Afghanistan. His wife, and my best…
