Frozen yogurt is one of my weaknesses. I even considered opening my own frozen yogurt business for awhile, but then realized how detrimental that would be to my hips and my wallet. Apparently you can’t make money off of a business if you are eating all of your own goods, bummer. Self-control is something that goes right out the window as soon as I step foot into a self-serve froyo bar, I just LOVE it. You know the giant cups they have available, intended for a small family to share? I have eaten two of those in one sitting. Problem.
So when I saw this “recipe” on Pinterest yesterday for frozen yogurt dots, I had to immediately go home and make them. Picture a hybrid of frozen yogurt/dippin dots. Need I say more?
The process of making them is so quick and easy, it doesn’t even require words:
I made them with Chobani Peach Yogurt and they turned out great!! I do think that if you used regular Yoplait or something non-Greek they would taste a little more like dessert, as Greek yogurt can taste really thick. Seriously, try these. They are my new favorite snack, and healthy too!
Those of you with babies/kids, I bet these would be a huge hit. I’ll have my sister try them out on my 9-month old nephew and let you know how it goes. If he was born with the froyo obsession gene like his Aunt Co, then it may be a good idea to buy some stock in yogurt soon. ๐
